Lead Java Developer - EPAM Systems

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to join our team. As a Lead Java Developer with expertise in Java, Hibernate, Spring, and ReactJS, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of Java/J2EE applications. This role involves working on a series of projects to build Liferay and Blockchain integrations as well as client-facing web portals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of portal solutions based on Liferay (Back-end and front-end)
• Handle tasks for integration of Liferay with other systems
• Develop end-to-end solutions based on Liferay
• Mentor and support junior developers
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Java/J2EE application design and development
• 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency in Java and Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
• Strong front-end development skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java Server Pages (JSP)
• Experience with SQL, T-SQL, and database management systems such as SQL Server
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Hands-on experience implementing RESTful APIs and web services
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar
• Interest in learning and working with Liferay technology
• B2+ English level proficiency
